Why I Created the Women's Wellness Event

There are many women I meet in practice who might relate to this.

You’re juggling work, family, relationships and responsibilities. Everyone seems to rely on you, yet somehow you always end up at the bottom of your own priority list, often feeling guilty when you try to put yourself first.

You keep telling yourself you’ll start looking after your health when life settles down.

But life rarely does.

Maybe you’re dealing with the everyday pressures of work, family and life, trying to keep everything running smoothly while putting your own needs aside.

You’re tired.

Overwhelmed.

Running on empty.

Sleep isn’t what it used to be—tossing and turning, waking several times through the night, never quite feeling rested.

One of the conversations I have most often is,

“I know what I should be doing… I just can’t seem to get started.”

The reality is, you don’t need more information. Most of us already know that movement, strength, good nutrition and quality sleep all support our health.

Sometimes what we need isn’t another workout plan or more motivation. We simply need the right environment to take that first step.

Because motivation doesn’t usually come first—it grows after we begin.

Doing it alone is hard.

That’s where accountability, connection and community make all the difference. There’s something powerful about being surrounded by people who are on a similar journey—people who encourage you, understand you, and remind you that you’re not doing this alone.

That’s exactly why I created Connect. Move. Thrive.

This isn’t about intense workouts or pushing yourself to exhaustion.

It’s about creating space for yourself.

Moving your body in a way that feels good.

Learning simple ways to reduce stiffness, improve strength, and better support your body through the different seasons of life.

More importantly, it’s an opportunity to reconnect with yourself.
