Meet Vanessa, Thrive Care Coordinator
Introduction
I’m Vanessa, Thrive’s Care Coordinator and one of the friendly faces you’ll see at the front desk.
My role goes beyond reception. I work closely with our practitioners behind the scenes, helping the team stay connected and making sure everyone who comes through our doors feels welcomed and supported.
My Story
Since joining Thrive, I’ve grown a lot in confidence and have had the opportunity to take on new responsibilities and step outside my comfort zone.
I’ve enjoyed challenging myself, learning new skills and becoming more involved in the Thrive community. One of my favourite parts has been the connections I’ve built along the way. I love seeing familiar faces, having a chat and getting to know the people who come through our doors.
My Role at Thrive
As Thrive’s Care Coordinator, I help keep the day-to-day running of the practice organised and support both our community and practitioners.
I help coordinate appointments, assist with day-to-day needs and work closely with the team behind the scenes. I also get to bring out my creative side through Thrive’s newsletters, posters and other projects around the practice.
My Approach
For me, looking after people starts from the moment they walk through the door.
I want people to feel comfortable, welcomed and remembered when they come to Thrive. I enjoy being someone they can talk to, ask questions and feel supported by throughout their time with us.
What I Enjoy About My Role
I love that no two days at Thrive are the same. I get to work closely with our practitioners, take on new challenges and continue learning, while also building genuine connections with the people who visit us.
Seeing familiar faces, having a chat and hearing what’s happening in their lives is one of the things I enjoy most about being part of the Thrive community.
Outside the Practice
When I’m not at Thrive, you’ll usually find me collecting cute trinkets or enjoying the occasional late-night drive.
